Cartrack’s African branches upgrade to VOIP Line PABX system

Cartrack’s African branches are in the process of modernising and upgrading their telephony systems, with a Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP) Line PABX system expected to be rolled out at all branches in Africa within the next two months.  This project, which was initiated in November with the aim of completion in the first quarter of 2018, will align the telephony systems at Cartrack’s African branches with the system at the South African head office.

The new VOIP upgrade will ensure that Cartrack’s African branches are able to offer customers a more dynamic and modern telephone system and will also result in a more productive environment for staff.

The upgrade to the telephony systems will result in the offering of several important features, including better call quality, the seamless recording of all calls, and daily management reporting of call statistics. Beyond this, the management at these branches will have better resources to manage the efficiency and call quality of all telephone interactions, in particular those with Cartrack’s customers.
