Cartrack reaches over 750,000 global subscribers
Cartrack, a global leader in fleet management, vehicle tracking and insurance telematics technology, in February announced growth of more than 85,000 subscribers from 1 September, 2017 to 15 February, 2018 to over 750,000 subscribers globally. The year-on-year subscriber growth to date is approximately 25% and compares favourably to Cartrack’s 65,812 net additions in the first six months of the 2018 financial year.
Cartrack Global CEO, Zak Calisto, attributes this growth to Cartrack’s investment in operating and distribution capacity. He adds that the growth will strengthen the company’s aspirations moving forward.
“This significant growth in subscribers will enable us to introduce more value propositions to the market. A special focus will be placed on workforce optimisation, with the goal of leveraging all available telematics and technology to improve the productivity of assets and people.”
He concludes that Cartrack still views itself as a start-up, and as such, is committed to undertaking increased investment in its systems and services.
